Doyle was once a general of the Angel Empire, despite always having a reserved disposition. Even when the Angels began setting up schools to teach Humans, Doyle still refused to touch any of their powers. 

    However, he was always loyal like no other. Setting up the Divine Legion to serve a higher cause, his legion and Augustine's Crescent Legion are two of the most powerful forces of Angel Empire. 

    Doyle's mistrust of the Angels gave the Dark Council a chance, he was tricked into rebeling against the Angels that eventually ended in failure. Upon death, Doyle realized that he had been manipulated. 

    Fortuna did not want Doyle to die with regret, she made a deal the Hela of Tempest Kingdom to bring him back, for an unknown price. Doyle returned as the Nether Knight, loyal as ever and a protector of Paramount.
