Not much is known about the life of Lin, only that she traveled to Sapphire with her parents at a young age from the East. Lin's parents are swordmasters who toured the world in search of various techniques.

    When Lin's family came to Divine Empire, they were invited by the organization Veil as guests, the commander Bart, wanted her parents' sword Emerald Death. Bart poisoned them both, but neglecting Lin, who was only 6 years old. From then, Lin took a vow of silence and practiced swordsmanship until she infiltrated Veil and killed Bart with her own hands.

    But that was not the end of her vendetta, Lin remained in Veil, waiting to meet the true leader so that she can strike down the person responsible for her parents' death and reclaim the Emerald Death.
