In life, Hawthorne was a brilliant archer and trusted general of Elf King Harrington. What makes him such a perfect marksman is his 'Mind's Eye' skill that allows him to guide his arrows with his thought, no other possesses this skill. 

    After the Chaos Wars, the Orcs finally resisted Harrington's New World Project with all out war. To protect his king, Hawthorne stood against 500 Orcs, sacrificing himself. 

    When he next gained conscious, Hawthorne is already an Undead, serving the Death Lord. His hatred for Humans and Orcs stems from the death of Harrington at Human and Orc hands. 

    It was not until he met his king again that they both joined the Tempest Kingdom to save the world.
